Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy – Russian moral thinker and Novelist

Inspired by Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy’s philosophy, a group of young corporate professionals came together in 2014 to set up Divjot Organization for Social Empowerment (DOSE) to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities.

The purpose of establishing Divjot Organization for Social Empowerment (DOSE) is empowering the downtrodden and linking them with the mainstream through education, access to better health services, training and financial support. DOSE is a development-based NGO which works in collaboration with both governmental and non-governmental agencies to implement the projects at ground level.

DOSE works towards educating the underprivileged children. Their team comprises people from various fields, who expertly bring their experiences and own unique perspectives and work together to create a bright future for our country.
We are taking giant strides in areas like, children’s education, health services, employment generation, micro credit and women empowerment.

Mission

Divjot’s (DOSE) Mission is to build “A community where every individual living in the rural & urban part India finds the means of living and gets appropriate resources to fulfill the needs of livelihood so that a better social living is ensured for all”

“Improvement in the quality of life and empowerment of the people living in the rural & urban part of India and families living below the poverty line – with particular emphasis on the poorest of the poor, through intensive capacity building interventions, education, income generation and health activities"
